Hoon the owner was amazing, he was so helpful and made...

Hoon the owner was amazing, he was so helpful and made travelling around the area by bus easy with his clear instructions. He wrote an order down for us for a Korean Barbeque to help us and even ran us to the station when we left. The breakfast he made us was lovely. The room was like a small apartment with everything we needed it was clean and comfy.

Nothing, it's the perfect place to stay if you're visiting the area.

Everything was perfect!

Everything was perfect! Hoon is very hospitable. It was really great to meet him. He has always helped us: put out suitable brochures, picked out bus times, helped us with difficulties, ... The lokation is also awesome. We stayed in Gangneung for a longer than we first planed, because there is so mutch to see and to do: the beach, the national park and especially the Bau-gil hiking trails inspired us. :-)

What was the highlight of Guesthouse at Gangneung Station

Lovely place, would love to spend more time here.

The host was super accommodating, from the first email with directions to contacting on our arrival day! We arrived super early (9:30am!) but he still let us check-in right away and also gave some recommendations for places to eat and new things to see.

I was hoping for some time to chat with the host but our schedules didn't seem to match up. When it was time for breakfast, he ate alone. I guess he was giving my boyfriend and I our space but would have been nice to eat all together!

Small but convenient apartment with very helpful owner.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful owner who gave us some good tips and did everything to make us feel welcome and to get the most of our time at Gangneung. He speaks good English as well.

Amazing, short, feelng like at home and the city won't disappointe you, just don't forget swimsuit!

The owner of the guesthouse is very welcoming and it makes you to feel like at home. The location was great! Thanks to the help of the owner, in short time we saw and meet everything what we wanted. And have I mentioned THE BREAKFAST? Amazing home made breakfast! I'd give it 11 points frm 10! Seriously, guys, if you go to the city, book a room at this guesthouse! I had no regrets and definitely want to come back!

The host, Hoon, has been taking good care of us and made us feel at home. The breakfast he made is very delicious and unforgettable. We would love to come back in Winter for a ski trip.

1st time in Gangneung

Clean rooms and common area with delicious breakfast every morning. The owner also helped us to call for delivery service as we weren't sure of what to do. He was also very kind to fetch 4 of us with our 4 big luggages from Gangneung KTX station on the first day to his home as well as sending our luggages to the station on the day we were leaving. overall a very good host that was readily available to assist us in our needs!
